This model is a way-cool fusion of classic Fender elements: an alder Jazz Bass guitar body paired with a maple Precision Bass guitar neck, loaded with a single Seymour Duncan Basslines Quarter Pound Precision Bass pickup controlled by a lone volume pot. Other features include a rosewood fingerboard, medium-jumbo frets with dot inlays and a one-piece, four-ply white pearloid pickguard/control plate.
Has one tone control that keeps everything simple without having to go through complicated combinations to find the "true sound" you want.
Extremely light-weight; This can be seen in Mark Hoppus live shows with Blink-182 where he is constantly moving around without difficulty.
Has an awesome punk sound to it. An ideal bass to use for live shows as it offers both high quality sound, as well as a fancy design.
A bass worth getting!

Mark Hoppus is a great person. I met him and he was so cool. Very funny, great musician, a friend and a great father. Nothing more you can ask. May God continue blessing him, his family and his band.
